Our Factory

70,000 Sq Ft of Manufacturing, Under Our Own Roof

Almost every interior company in Mumbai outsources production. We do not. Every kitchen, wardrobe and joinery package we deliver is cut, edged, finished and quality-checked in our own facility — which is why we can hold a date and a price.

Why It Matters

Owning the Factory Is the Whole Argument

When production is outsourced, the three things a client actually cares about — quality, timeline and price — all sit with somebody else. A delay upstream becomes your delay. A substituted board becomes your problem, usually discovered at installation.

Manufacturing in-house removes that layer. We schedule our own production, inspect our own output, and carry the cost of getting it wrong. It is the reason we can offer a fixed-price contract and a 10-year warranty rather than an estimate and a hope.

It also means a client or an architect can walk the floor and watch their own job being built — which is not something a company reselling somebody else's production can offer.

Machinery

The Machines That Do the Work

Panel furniture is as good as the machine that cuts and edges it. Ours is European industrial plant rather than workshop equipment, which is what makes a repeatable tolerance possible across hundreds of units.

CNC Machining

HOMAG CENTATEQ P-100

A CNC processing centre from HOMAG, the German group that is the reference standard in panel-furniture machinery. It handles the drilling, grooving, routing and shaped cutting that turn a flat board into a component that fits — accurately, and identically, across a production run.

What it means in practice: hinge and shelf-pin positions land where the drawing says, every carcass in a run is the same, and a complex detail is machined rather than hand-cut.

Edge Banding

Biesse Jade 340

An industrial edge bander from Biesse, the Italian manufacturer. The edge band is where cheap panel furniture fails first — a lifting or peeling edge on a kitchen shutter after monsoon is almost always a bad bonding job, not a bad board.

A machine-applied, evenly pressed and trimmed edge seals the panel properly against moisture. On a Mumbai kitchen or wardrobe, that single detail is most of the difference between furniture that lasts a decade and furniture that does not.

Alongside these sit our panel saws, pressing, sanding and finishing lines, and the assembly and packing bays. Come and see them running →

The Journey

From Drawing to Installed

Every job runs through the same nine stages, whether it is wardrobe or a full apartment.

01
Drawing

The approved design becomes production drawings — every panel dimensioned, every hardware position fixed. Nothing reaches the floor without a signed-off drawing.

02
Production Planning

Panels are optimised for cutting so material yield is maximised and waste minimised, then the job is slotted into the production schedule against its site date.

03
Cutting

Boards are sized on the panel saw to the cutting list. This is where a millimetre of drift would multiply through the whole job, so sizes are verified before anything moves on.

04
CNC Machining

On the HOMAG CENTATEQ P-100: drilling, grooving, routing and profiling. Components come off the machine ready to assemble without hand-fitting.

05
Edge Banding

On the Biesse Jade 340: edges are bonded, trimmed and buffed so every exposed edge is sealed against moisture — the detail that decides how the piece ages.

06
Processing & Assembly

Carcasses are assembled, hardware fitted, drawers and shutters aligned. Units are trial-assembled here rather than discovering a problem on site.

07
Finishing

Laminate, acrylic, PU or veneer to the approved finish schedule, in controlled conditions — a dust-free environment being most of what separates a good spray finish from a poor.

08
Quality Control

Units are checked against the approved drawing: dimensions, finish, edge quality, hardware operation and alignment. Anything that fails goes back rather than forward.

09
Packing & Installation

Units are protected and packed for transit, delivered to site, and installed by our own teams — then snagged and handed over.

Materials

What Goes Into the Work

BWP-Grade Plywood

Boiling-water-proof grade as standard where moisture matters — kitchens, vanities and anywhere humidity is a fact of life in Mumbai.

E1-Rated Boards

E1 is the low-formaldehyde-emission classification — the relevant standard for panels sealed inside a home where people sleep.

Hettich & Häfele Hardware

Hinges, channels and lift systems from the German brands that hold their action over years of daily use. Hardware is what gets used every day, so it is a poor place to economise.

Material certificates are shared on trade and corporate contracts. Where a drawing or specification calls for something different, we build to it.

Factory Visit

Come and See It Running

Clients and architects are welcome on the floor. Seeing where the work is actually made tends to settle most questions faster than a brochure can. Visits run Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM, at our Andheri West facility.
